Their clothes used to be higher quality (GREAT in nineties), with better materials (no synthetics). Now there's so much acrylic and nylon, with only the occasional poor-quality cashmere... i'd much rather purchase from j.crew or banana republic. A+F is cheap quality, overpriced and styled in a pre-pubescent manner. I think if you've graduated from college, you shouldn't be seen in A+F anymore.

I'm 17 and I always get stuff at Abercrombie. Me and my girlfriend just went there yesterday. Yea, its expensive and preppy but I'm preppy. I feel guilty being able to pay for that over-priced stuff when others can barely afford the cheep stuff.

Ok. Abercrombie & Fitch ® is NOT THAT expensive. Try stuff like Polo ®, Lacoste ® (both a little more expensive). I only listed those because those are the closest to Abercrombie ® type styling. The only people who think Abercrombie ® is "top notch" are those who live in an area where Abercrombie ® is the only "preppy" store around. Try Polo ® ,Vineyard Vines ® & Brooks Brothers ® if you want REAL prepwear.

I do shop their, but not as much since the quality has gone down. recently in the past two yrs. i have been buying vintage Abercrombie,possibly back to the '80s. But i have a few shirts and a pair of '90s pants, and quality is so nice, soft, and thick. Def can't wait to find even older vintage maybe back to 1900.

I love abercrombie & fitch and i always will! they have so much gorgus stuff:) although the prices can be a bit expensive but oh well

I'm 16 and when I'm at the mall my girlfriend always wants to stop in there. When I think about it I feel guilty when I think about how I can spend that much on expensive clothes.
