I remember they were really slouchy - part of the style was having them hang low on your back. I used to put pins and dolls and other decorations on them, so mine were really silly looking. But I loved them XD

those are coming back. all the girls at my junior high wear those instead of a regular backpack and just carry a binder. they are called dakine backpacks. you can also get them in a normal size, but ive only seen one person with a dakine backpack the size of a normal backpack. i have one of the mini ones in purple.
I had the whole Cher thing going. But I only had like 2 outfits. I eventually conformed back to alternative...the alternative right after grunge. Remember, your pants actually fit again and were bootcut Angels from bodyshop?! I misssss the 90's!!!
Everyone carries skanky purses now :( I miss those bags ahah.

does anyone remember when tickle me elmo came out and it was the thing to have? i was like 7, but my sister was in middle school and every day we'd driver her around looking for an elmo backpack. these were popular to wear but instead of a regular bag, it would be a cartoon character or children's show character! hha
loved these. I hate the purses now. they to bulky and get in the way . missing the ninetys

yeah michelle! i remember those back packs of cartoon characters. i used to have on of a sheep...loved that thing. didn't bother me that i had to put my hand down his throat to get my stuff out. the shame lol...
I was a little kid in the nineties, so I did have one of those. But mine had Teletubbies on them.
yes, they also made them in neon colored bears as well...i had those and these other leather type too...and i remember the teletubbie and elmo ones as well...we would hang key chains off of them and pin little dolls and patches and anything we could think of to them!!
I still have one and I STILL use it! Only mine is really really small. Too small to ever use for school.
I loved these bags ,they came in large bags and mini bags ,black ,white ,yellow ,green ,pink , purple ,silver , gold ,see-through .everyone had them bring them back x
Oh my god! I used to love these backpacks. I had a smiley face backpack and a tamagotchi. They were the best...Ii recently used the Tamagotchi bag again. So cute...I miss the 90's.
They had ones that were animals
I remember these bags. I had one. I enjoyed it so. I have never ever thought about this bag until now. A difference a decade makes.

Those are coming back, I see people at the university wearing those.
God those were ugly. I was loathe to see any girl wearing one and I think most men (boys, I would suppose, at the time.) thought the same thing.
I had a University of Kentucky Wildcats one...even the boys at my elementary school thought that was pretty cool.
I was cleaning out some stuff the other say and found mine. I had 5 in various colors with a million keychains and the digital pets (tamigotchi, tiger).
