I don't know about THAT pic, but Mary Janes made a huge comeback in the 90's. As a teen, I often wore the Doc Marten pairs. Even now, MJ's around, although they have been modified with time. In fact, I own a pair of Mary Jane stilettos. If I had the money, I'd love to have the Manolo ones. But those would be like 3 car payments in one. LOL.

I'm pretty sure the picture they have posted here for mary janes are, in fact, clown shoes... fugly. Real mary janes are much, much cuter. I had them in heels and flats. I still wear this style.
