All the boys in my school used to wear black Nike high-tops. They were the height of cool back then. LOL.

Nike is too global and general of a brand to categorize as a "product of the 90's," but that's just my two cents..

I have a pair of NIKE high tops and im a girl! They are not only guys shoes and i got them in 2008 (this year). Everyone loves them still (girls and boys)
