I had a Miami Dolphins coat, which is kind of ironic since I'm a Patriots fan. Hey, I was twelve when I wore it, and I knew next to nothing about football back then. I think I just liked the colors or something. LOL.
Everyone from SXE boys to Gangsta's wore these.
SXE boys were just trying to be Gangsta's so your comment is redundant. the only Starter coats that mattered: SJ Sharks, Charlotte Hornets and anything else with gnarly colors for pseudo-gang activity (weed) with your crossXcolours.
Wearing Starter was cool until kids started getting jacked for them. How sad, because you can now find Starter clothing at your local WALMART discount retailer.
YO I HAD THE HORNETS JACKET!!!..then sumone put a bugger in it n i threw it away....man i miss that jacket!!!...
I had a Knicks '92 Starter Coat. So cool, and i still have it in mint condition.
I had a blue and gold Buffalo Sabers one, with the old Sabers logo. Wore it for years. I miss that coat....
I also had a Mimi Dolphins coat and i also wore it because i liked the colors lol!
I have a starter coat still, have had it for about 8 yrs. now. It is warm and comfortable. And still in good shape. Have other coats, but really like my starter.
I didn't have a Starter because I did not like pull overs, but I had a Logo Athletic - Proline which was the zip up version. It was Miami Dolphins just for the color. It got stolen out of my storage unit, man I wish I could find another, I can not find a coat as warm and well built anywhere now.
I had a Charlotte Hornets starter. I remember hearing stories about people getting mugged for their starter jackets. Never happened to me though.
Lita on Sailor Moon had a jacket that was green that looked like one of these and I wanted it SO BADLY.

i had a buffalo bills one back in the early 90s and i recently found a steelers and penguins ones while going through my moms stuff still in good condition the one just needs the zipper put back on and both just need dry cleaned
