I remember wearing white bra straps as hairbands in the late 90s. I think they came in other colors too.

yeah my moom said she used to wear a bra starp as a head band too!!!

they recently came in again for teens like last year. EVERYONE wore them. not bra straps, :P, i meant the plastic hairbands.

I remember my mom making me wear these with my freaking spiral perm. Yikes! I hated it. But now I love wearing headbands. They're part of my style now, just not the ones from the '90s. Don't you love being a '90s Baby? lol

Just do a google search and you'll see all sorts of white hair/headbands. Seriously why is this counted only as a 90's thing? Haven't girls worn them all and any years? And...seriously...BRA STRAPS??! Hahaha! That is a weird fad! Wearing a bra strap as a hair accessory...that's so bizarre.

There were also wide elastic hairbands, like wide stretch tubes almost, popular in the very early 90s, like from about 1989 to '91. You usually saw them in white, but they could be in any color. Popular about the same time Pucci print catsuits, babydoll dresses, and stretch everything was in. Worn with kind of 60s-looking bobbed hair. And you sometimes saw guys swearing them.
