Ah yes, the infamous Crystal Pepsi, that used none other that Van Halen's "Right Now" as a part of it's advertising campaign. It really wasn't a bad flavor at all, I actually kinda liked it. The market was just a bit flooded with new sodas, which we weren't used to in the early 90's.

I was working at Blockbuster Video when this came out (late '92 or early '93), and I, along with my co-workers, were really exited to try it since our store got a HUGE shipment of this stuff to sell. We all thought it tasted ok, but none of us could figure out why we would really buy it again. After all, since when is food coloring high on our list of things to avoid???

this was the best soda ever, i also liked the blue pepsi but of course anything that is so great never lasts, i hear you can still have a crystal pepsi if you visit the factory and take the tour.

There are apparently two versions of Crystal Pepsi: One that tasted like regular Pepsi, and another that tasted like citrus. I've only had the citrus version and it was amazing. It tasted like orange soda, but fruitier and not as artificial.

I loved this! I wish they would bring it back! It kinda tasted peppery to me but I still liked it!
