A member of the Cinnamon Toast Crunch family (which for a time also included the delicious Peanut Butter Toast Crunch). While the version in stores today resembles "regular" CTC with the addition of maple swirls, the ORIGINAL version (first available in the late 90s) featured pieces that were much smaller and shaped like actual slices of yellow toast. While the detail was great, visually, the taste and texture didn't hold a candle to CTC - was more akin to Cookie Crisp (i.e. kind of disintegrated in milk). Not as good as what they make today.

Cinnamon Toast Crunch has always been one of my faves. When they released French Toast Crunch I was all over it.. I became addicted to this stuff! The original kind that was shaped like toast, that is. I'd eat it out of a mixing bowl. I wish I could still eat that much lol
I loved this when I was little but the new kind in stores now isn't near as good.
I remember when this stuff came out. I was young and saw the commercial and my dad bought some a few days later. Man that stuff was awesome, I wish I had told him to keep buying it. It's probably been almost 10 years since I had some. But it's been discontinued in the US though it is still marketed in Canada.
I had starting buying the original cinnamon toast crunch shortly before they discontinued it.I loved that cereal and was so disappointed when I learned they had stopped making it.I even went to GM's website and sent them an email asking them if they could please continue making it,but all I could get out of them was a coupon for there other cereals. I think we should start a petition to get the original back in production. I would pay them to start making it again if I could.
Man I loved this stuff!! It was like crunchy kid crack! I miss the hack outta it.
