Description
This food made by the McDonalds company comes back sometimes as part of a push for a movie of some kind. The first big push for it I can remember was for the original "Jurassic Park" movie. Basically, its a boneless hunk of ribmeat, shaped to look like a rack of ribs, on a retangular piece of bread. The meat itself was covered in BBQ sauce and had fake grill marks tattooed on it.

These were okay, not great but pretty dang good when you didn't care or look at it.

I'd never tried them until the last time they were offered, and to my surprise I loved them and couldn't get them often enough while they were offered. It should be on the menu permanently.

I agree with Laura 100%. The McRib needs to be on the permanent menu and not just come and go. They've been around since I was a kid and will obviously always be around but let's make it available for all time just like all the other products, It only makes sense.

The McRib was a limited release on and off throughout the 1980's and 1990's. I remember Sinbad doing a commercial for the McRib. That couldn't have helped sales very much. Not a great sandwich though in the long run

Shaping mystery meat like a rack of ribs is insanely funny--except I wouldn't dare eat it. Totally creeped me out.

I eat these every time they come back out. Yum.

These things are disgusting. I seriously question your taste in food if you think this is good. I am pretty sure the first time they came out was with the Flinstones movie, not Jurassic Park, so what is said above is incorrect.

I used to love these. But I tried it just a month or two ago when it came back out, and it was terrible. I am not sure if they changed something with the meat or bbq sauce or both. Either way, I am turned off by them now.

I just learned that these aren't made with ANY pork that you would consider eating by itself. The patty is comprised of pig's heart, tripe, and "scalded stomach". Don't believe me? Google "McRib Ingredients" and you'll find a Yahoo article that tells you exactly what is in them. Disgusting.

Ewwww! Wish they'd bring back the Italian McSub instead of the McRib which looks totally gross
