This may be the late eighties, but it may not be. It was a really tasty cereal that had two bags of cereal in it, one half was Super Mario cereal and the other was Zelda cereal, I believe.

Nintendo Cereal was made in 1988
I remember the lyrics, as they were sort of like the music from the video game
It had Super Mario and Zelda shapes (well, sort of...they were supposed to be) and fruit and berry flavours
I never had it (to eat) but remember it
i loved it but it was not cheap
Tasted like crap, but I had to have it because it was Nintendo (Mario, and Zelda) and I wanted to be cool.
This was definitely from the 80's....
