They were gummy sticky like candy in the form of a straw. There were many that came in a pack. They had sugar all over them and were sour.

I loved sour punch straws as a kid of the 90s; so addictive they make my mouth water! I always stole them from my older cousin and eat the whole package. LOL! I still enjoy them to this very day. :^)
I remember back in the Spring of 1998 when they only had 2 or 3 flavors. I was on a baseball team and after every single game me and this one kid on my team would go to the concession stand and get the new flavor. Every week it seemed like they had a new flavor. Their harder to find now days but Walgreens and Happy Harry's occasionally have the big packs of them on sale 3 for $3.
