Working the Backlog
There's a lot of stuff people have submitted to the site over the past 8 years that hasn't been reviewed yet. ChuckyG and Red Ant are currently trying to review as much of it as possible. If you'd like to help, check out the request for editors message I posted on inthe00s. I plan on adding more sections to the site and improving what's here once the existing material has been reviewed.

Magic Nursery Babies
The gimmick with Magic Nursery Babies was that it was supposed to be like taking a real baby home and finding out all about it's unique features. The Magic Nursery Baby came with a dissolveable hospital gown that, once immersed in water, would dissintigrate and a little package would be left telling you the baby's sex and giving you a new pair of clothes for your baby. You then got to see if your baby had long or short hair, innie or outie bellybutton, etc., and write it all down in a little baby book that came with the doll. Another feature of the dolls was a heart on their cheek, which (supposedly) if you kissed it, would turn into a star. The heart was supposed to disappear with heat, so more often then not just kissing the doll's cheek wasn't enough to make the star appear! I was about eight or nine (1991-92) when I had these dolls, and my best friend and I were nuts over them.

Giga Pets
This electronic toy manufactured by Tiger Electronics came out in 1997. I had one that my friend gave to me but not for long though. Well anyway, it was basically like having a pet but taking care of it on a portable keychain-sized computer. You could name it, feed it, play with it etc. like a real pet.
