Too bad Brad Nowell lost his battle against the addiction! This is a typical Sublime-song: Not to be put in a certain category! Just unique

Eddie Vedder.. I started listening to Pearl Jam in 9th grade - and am still fascinated by this song

"Dizzy Up The Girl" is a great album.. 'Slide' is an even greater song
    • 1. One by U2
There is nothing but U2!! I actually like their songs from previous albums (this is from "achtung baby") better, but this is my most favourite u2-tune from the 90's decade

The 90's have been a decade of variety! So many different styles/types of music! Let's hope the new millenium will continue where the 90's ended! :o)

    • 10. One Headlight by Wallflowers
I don't know what the hell he's talking about, but damn that Dylan boy, he's good.
    • 9. Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana
This is one of those songs that I think you remember where you were the first time you heard it. (I was on my way to a swim meet and my teammate Todd was listening/singing it.)
    • 8. Jeremy by Pearl Jam
I swear to God this is a true story. In high school, my friend Matt actually said to me, "That's a great song, but who is Jeremy Spaulding?" Unsure what he meant, I asked him to explain. His reply summed up this senior's thoughts on freshmen precisely. He said, "They keep saying, 'Jeremy Spaulding is dead'."
    • 7. Eat the Rich by Aerosmith
A theme we can all (honestly) relate to. Who actually likes rich people, anyway? Maybe someday I'll be one of them.
    • 6. Motownphilly by Boyz II Men
If you tell anyone that I said this, I'll find you. I don't know who you are, where you live, or how I'll find you, but I promise, I WILL find you!
    • 5. Epic by Faith No More
Great song, better video. Every time it rains I cross my fingers.
    • 4. Interstate Love Song by Stone Temple Pilots
An ex-roommate of mine introduced me to a way to listen to this song that I can't shake. I don't care how cold it is outside-I've done this at three in the morning, in February, in upstate New York-roll all your windows down, drive really, really fast, and turn this up until you feel your spleen vibrating. I assure you, you'll never listen to this song the "normal" way again!
    • 3. Enter Sandman by Metallica
I hate to admit it, but this is the song that turned me on to Metallica. Did you guys know they had recorded stuff before this?
    • 2. Used to Love Her by Guns N Roses
Another song we can all relate to. (At least, those of us with an annoying exgirlfriend buried in the back yard, anyway.) I'm noticing a theme here-I'm really not a psycho!
    • 1. Water's Edge by Seven Mary Three
It's just a haunting song that (if you listen to the lyrics) anyone who has witnessed the violent kidnapping of their girlfriend and been scared to tell the police for fear of retribution can relate to.

Great site! First time visitor, but I'm gonna do some exploring!

    • 10. Walk Like An Egyptian by MxPx

A great track from when the Canadian group was starting to really get acclaim...S&M 4 life!
    • 7. Is Anybody Home? by Our Lady Peace
One of OLP's songs that I like the most. They're a great band that have worked relly hard to get to where they are now. They've had their struggles but they pulled through...plus, they're Canadian...YEAH! GO CANADA!!!! ...yes, I'm Canadian ;)
    • 6. All The Small Things by Blink 182
I really like this Blink song...and the video is so funny!!! Ha ha...you gotta love it when someone parodies Britney Spears!
    • 5. Lithium by Nirvana
Nirvana was a great band and their songs deserve to be on these lists. They'd be so happy, if todaaaay they saw their band, upon this list...
    • 4. Pretty Girl (The Way) by Sugarcult
This song is really good...or at least I think so...and I guess that's what matters.
    • 3. Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana
What can be said other than, it's a great song! Nirvana rocks and though Kurt Cobain isn't around anymore, the music will live on!
    • 2. Anthem For The Year 2000 by Silverchair
Ok, it might seem like I'm a little keen on silverchair, and I am, but this has to go right as #2...It's my favourite right after Ana's Song. With strong, rebelous lyrics and musical talent courtesy of silverchair, I put this song on my list
    • 1. Ana's Song (Open Fire) by Silverchair
I love this song so much! silverchair is awsome and the group has TONS of musical talent, Daniel Johns I find especially. He has a great voice, weather it be when he's singing high or low, and his almost completely self-taught guitar skills are amazing! The lyrics to this song are so heart-felt...Daniel Johns expresses his struggle with anorexia through the music and you can't help but be moved by this beautiful song!

I couldn't possibly get all the songs I wanted to on the list but these are a few of my favourite...after the first few the order doesn't really go like that for me...I could sit here longer humming and hawwing about how I really really want them but I won't.
