    • 10. Step By Step by New Kids On The Block
the orginal boy band that started it all. Even though boy bands are teh worst thing to ever happen to music proabably ever. They have a big effect on the lives of millions of little 14 year old girls and these guys desreve credit for starting it all.
    • 9. Basketcase by Green Day
The band that turned me on to punk when i was little after green day it was NOFX and Rancid. But green day, the offspring and Nirvana gave punk a name in the 90's after it kinda died from popular music in the early 80's.
    • 8. What I Got by Sublime
the most influencial group other than Nirvana by far of te 90's. Even though no one really knew about them until their singer died they were a great band.
    • 7. Stickin In My Eye by Nofx
one of the most influencial punk groups of the 90's other than Nirvana
    • 6. People Of The Sun by Rage Agsinst The Machine
rage started the whole rap metal scene way before limp bizkit ever stated I give them the entire credit for making great music and having alot of horrible rip offs of what they did .
    • 5. The World I Know by Collective Soul
As far as i know it probably stopped alot of kids from killing themselves. I know it helped me through some rough times.
    • 4. Run Away Train by Soul Aslylum
actually i don't even know if its from the 90's or the 80's or even if thats the song name or if i spelled the band name right but the video helped alot of families reunite and for that this song deserves alot of credit. PLus its a cool song too lets not overlook that
    • 3. Under The Bridge by Red Hot Chilli Peppers
One of the most influencial bands of all time no one does it like the chilli peppers with their unique and still unique style of punk funk and i've never heard a band play it better ever.
    • 2. Blind by Korn
A huge influence on the rock scene Korn is kinda the band that started it all with the alternative metal. Everyone started copying the sound like usual and claimed it as their own but we all know it was Korn who started the 7 string slap bass dealy.
    • 1. Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana
probably one of the if not the most influential bands, song, and people of the 90's . Its a punk rock song but still hit pop status and made the whole world realize there is something more than crappy 80's music and turned the world upside down I owe everything I've done musically to Nirvana for being such an inspiration on me and other artists I have been ispsired by.

Return to Innocence by Enigma one of the only techno songs ill listen too and brings back so man memories, Lenny Kravtz is another artist that desreves alot of credit for the music hes created over the decade. there is so many songs ive missed that were great. Actaully the 90's is in my opinion the best decade for music. Alot of good came out of it and alot of bad but that comes with each decade . so all in all its a decade of music that i'd relive again if i had the chance to anytime. Well peace out everyone. And lets hope to have a good 2000-2010 . right now the middle by Jimmy eat world tops the list cause they brought emo to mainstream. Which isn't really a good thing cause i prefered it underground but still. anyways im gone . peace
