THis was one of the best rock songs of the 90's back when OLP was hardcore.
    • 7. Machine Head by Bush
everyone was into this song. simple guitar tabs with such a great effect.
    • 6. My Hero by Foo Fighters
Dave Grohl really shows he's more than just a drummer(for nirvana) when he makes guitars and sings this song. talk about multitalented.
    • 5. Lightning Crashes by Live
well writen, they must have really put their hearts into this song.
    • 4. Killing In The Name Of by Rage Against The Machine
Tom morello proves to be the most skilled guitarist of the 90's on this album.

    • 8. American Party Bomb by Grinspoon
yalright!!! this is rock... so rock... aussie rock!
    • 7. Thru The Eyes Of Ruby by Smashing Pumpkins
one of the only bands that could have pulled this stadium rocker off! it is a big wall of sound with layers upon layers of guitars!!
    • 6. Everlong by Foo Fighters
    • 5. Photobooth by Death Cab For Cutie
      Perfect Emo
    • 4. The Rain Song by Page and Plant Unledded
Is this cheating? putting a Zeppelin song in.. recorded in 92 (I think) possibly even better than the original version - as if that's possible!
    • 3. Nirvana by Lithium
    • 2. Pushit by Tool
Innovative metal from the masters... lots of insane vocals from one of the best vocalists of modern times.
    • 1. Mouthful of Cavities by Blind Melon
Possibly the greatest song of all time... at the very least the greatest duet of all time by the most under-rated band of the 90s.

There is so much more Radiohead, Blind Melon and Tool that could be in the top 10 but ya know I try and limit myself to one song per band!
    By: Brian Williams
    • 10. Superman's Dead by Our Lady Peace
The alltime greatest song by this band. What happened to all the talent?

So I made a big mistake, but try to see it once my way... Am I wrong? have I gone too far to get home? If I'm wrong, I left you here alone. If I would, could you?" DOWNLOAD THIS SONG NOW!
    • 6. Santaria by Sublime

Great song with heart wrenching lyrics. This one really pulls on my heart strings
    • 3. Heart Shaped Box by Nirvana
    • 2. Burden in My Hand by Soundgarden
I don't think people recognize how great this band is. This song is a milestone of great talent in Chris Cornell. It is written in open-C tuning, which is very uncommon. To write a song this good with such a setback is amazing. It is also the funnest song I know how to play (guitar)
    • 1. Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana
This song is what first got me interested in becoming a musician. If it weren't for this song, my life: and music itself, would be entirely different.
