    • 8. Crowded House by Weather with you
beatelesque and a chorus that might be irritaitng, but that guitar riff encapsulates summer in a few seconds: nothing like it!

of course he belonged to THAT band, but this is probably the best good old Gazza is gonna get, a slice of funky acousitc rock
    • 6. Live Forever by Oasis
hate the band, but this song always gives me chills.

his ballads are always his best, and this just tugs at the heart, perfect after a break-up, mesmerising

mean, dangerous: true gangsta rap at its best, the old NWA members team up for a lesson in rap.

i love middle eastern music, and sting makes the best of it with great vocals by Cheb mami: middle eastern music is just plain wicked

a true classic stripped down into arguably a better version, great song by an even greater man.
    • 1. Ordinary World by Duran duran
it was wicked 2 see these guys back in the limelight(albeit for a short time) and wot a tune to do with: dreamy, hypnotic, inspiring, just plain beauitful. their best and most mature song by a long way.

    • 10. WHOLE DOOKIE ALBUM by Green Day
Not the happiest song I've heard, but
    • 9. Changes by 2pac Shakur
Another of our dead stars, 2pac was a lyrical master, who has been nicknamed the urban poet. His actions conflict the lyrics in this song. Being a rap hater even I enjoy Changes because 2 pac ox
    • 8. Jeremy, Evenflow, yellow ledbetter by Pearl Jam
We could not leave out the second most popular band of the 90's. Pearl jam rise came with the release of TEN, tei=
    • 7. Summertime, Wrong Way, Santeria by SUBLIME
This entire album flat out rocked. A new sound hailing out of Long Beach California, Bradley Nowell brought reggae punk type ska to every radio in the nation. Unfortunately his untimely death before the release of Sublime Sublime haulted what could and would have been a great career and years of listening. This whole album was fun and great to listen to.
    • 6. Under The Bridge by Red Hot Chili Peppers
You know you love it. Sometimes I feel like I don't have a partner, sometimes I feel like my only friend. You know the words...why? Because you know you love it.
    • 5. Cliffs of Dover by Eric Johnson
Who is that? Well he is one of the best guitarists of our time and inspired me to want to learn to play guitar after hearing this masterpiece. I'm sure I'm not the only one.
    • 4. My friend of Misery by Metallica
One of metallica's best, at least until they become flannel wearing faggots who care nothing about us (the fans) and about how more money they can steal from the public by releasing shitty sounding albums that were put out for the sole reason of being played on mainstream airwaves. Selloutica
    • 3. Scream of the butterfly by Acid bath
This is one of the best songs ever written hands down. Acid Bath is relatively unknown to mainstream audiences, but Dax is the best singer of our generation. They have alot of really hardcore metal on the 2 cd's they made, but Scream of the butterfly is one of the most haunting ballads of the 90's. Download this one from napster if you get the chance and if you are dissatisfied I will hump three really hot chicks.
    • 2. Lithium by Nirvana
Im so ugly but thats OK cuz so are you The number 1 band of the 90's didn't have just one song.
    • 1. Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana
No matter what anyone else thinks was the number one song of the 90's, this song catapaulted grunge into the the ears of every person who owned a radio or a T.V. set. Nirvana started it all, Pearl Jam, Bush, all those alternative rock bands would still be playing clubs in Seatlle if not for Kurt Cobain.

    • 10. WHOLE DOOKIE ALBUM by Green Day
when green day exploded onto the scene in the 90's with dookie every one loved them. Then it was not cool to like Green Day so everyone stopped. Fair weather fan fags. This is one of the only CD's you can put in and hit play and just listen. Not a bad track on the whole CD. And I still sing along every time I hear them.
    • 9. Changes by 2pac Shakur
Another of our dead stars, 2pac was a lyrical master, who has been nicknamed the urban poet. His actions conflict the lyrics in this song. Being a rap hater even I enjoy Changes because 2 pac ox

People and bands that should have made it couldn't be thought of at 6:30am while recovering from effects of whatever drug you think I might be on.

Doesn't show up on too many lists here, but I can say that in so cal everybody loves this one...Everclears new stuff is garbage.
    • 1. Only In Dreams by Weezer
Download it and listen to ALL 8 minutes, its an epic masterpiece...people dismiss Weezer as just some no talent pop band, but this is good shit.
