      I personally don't like the song, but it has to be on the list, it's probably Pearl Jam's best song, and Pearl Jam is one of the best bands of the 90's

      The beats will FUNK you up, really... and at the end.. WOW~the synthesizers and guitars along with Chamberlin's drumming expertise rocked this song.

      Great band, great song, just superb!!
    • 3. Don't Speak by No Doubt
      I read that "Dracula" by Stoker from start to the 400-odd page finish with this song repeating over and over in my head. Gwen can really deck it out and pulls some of the best dress sense in the video too.

      I cqan't really remember the exact title to the song, I think I was a bit 'out' at the time, but the song just tore up my realization of this so called good world and punched my musical spine till it bled. :)

      Probably the almost-known song of the infamous Pumpkins, This song and video has to be my favorite.... And of Course Nirvana's "Smells like Teen Spirit" and "Jeremy' by Peral Jam. of course. :)

    of course I have to give kudos to all the top grunge artists of the 90s.. but that will take to long, if you want, check out and buy "The Rotten Apples" Smashing Pumpkins Greatest Hits album... its soooo gooo.. milk came out fo my nose.

      This is just one of the best songs of all time. Deftones are THE best and I should just move them to #1 on my list but that would require me to do more work than I otherwise would and that would taint my perfect record of laziness. BEST SONG EVER! YOU MUST HEAR IT!

      This was played in an MTV Unplugged session and was never released onto an album (as far as I know). It's SO good and is done with such passion - I LOVE IT!
    • 7. How's It Going to Be by Third Eye Blind
      Again, just another great song. I'm sure we all can relate to it at some point in time...
    • 6. Celebrity Skin by Hole
      I actually heard this song for the first time a few days ago and it's damn good.
    • 5. Everlong by Foo Fighters
      This remains as my favorite FF song.
    • 4. Sex and Candy by Marcy Playground
      This was a big song in the 90's and I can't believe so many people have forgot about it!
    • 3. Blue Monday by Orgy
      Ok I know that they did a cover of the original New Order song, but Orgy just made it so much better! =)
    • 2. The World I Know by Collective Soul
      I had loved this song when it was first released and then I forgot about it until I heard it again after 9.11 and it took on new meaning.

      What can I say, it's just a great song.

    These are my favorite songs of the 90's that I could think of and they aren't in any particular order other than when I thought of them. Enjoy! (That is a lie, 'My Own Summer' needs to be in #1!!)

    I know that I'm missing a lot here, but it's only 10 songs so I held myself to one song per band...And I'd like to note a few bands that missing like the Gin Blossoms, Everclear (My favorite band-but I couldn't pin a specific song), Bush, Better Than Ezra (Easily my second favorite-once again couldn't pin a specific song), Collective Soul and Pearl Jam
