    • 10. Knockin' On Heaven's Door by Guns N Roses
Sure their is about another 6 songs that are great that I couldn't decide from! Their was Faith No More's song - Midlife Crisis, Pearl Jam's song - Jeremy, MetallicA's - Sad But True, PanterA's - Walk and Nirvana's - heart shaped box and Come as you are. But even though it's a cover of Bob Dylan's lyrically, musically it's totally different and I feel that Guns N Roses perfected it! This song is very good musically and it's very popular! Slash's plays a twin neck and this song is a bit strange but with the live show it's a crowd favorite due to the part where Axl get's the crowd to sing along with him - taking it in turns! Another great song from another great band! Music was so much better in the early 90's than it is now! Everything seems to be poor like Limp Bizket or rap like Eminem! Besides System of a down, I don't like any other new bands! Thje only bands like MetallicA, Nirvana and Guns N roses are so much better! I prefer old-school but I'm only 18 myself! I was only 6 when Nevermind was released, but I like good music and 90% of good music seems to be old these days!
    • 9. Slayer by Seasons In The Abyss
Very much not mainstream at all! Very much for the metalheads! But this song is great and I personally love it greatly ( I only like great band and that's why I'm being biased)! Slayer are thrash pioneers!
    • 8. Fear Of The Dark by Iron Maiden
Very unpoular band... but very talented! What's confusing is that Smells Like Teen Spirit was so popular in the early 90's for the kids...but yet Fear of the dark wasn't and it is such a great song! Very heavy and very talented! Nothing new from Iron Maiden even though the rest of the songs from this album are rather poor!
    • 7. Thunderstruck by Ac/dc
I'm a big AC/DC fan and they are argueably the greatest hard rock band ever! They are now in the hall of fame which the deserve to be! This song's opening riff is amazing but simple and this song is very catchy and very popular! I love it!
    • 6. Unforgiven by Metallica
Sure they got accused of selling-out! But this song isn't exactly pop related either! It does get remotely heavy in the middle! James Hetfield has always had very intelligent lyrics (especially in the 80's) and this song shows he has always been a great guitarist!
    • 5. Estranged by Guns N Roses
Another Epic GNR song! Great guitar playing and very intelligent lyrics.
    • 4. Cowboys From Hell by Pantera
Some say they are just noise! They are probably correct! But Cowboys from hell is a tremendous song! Just because it's not popular doesn't mean it's not great! Alot of people fail to understan that simple concept! Pantera are/were a great band!
    • 3. Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana
Once again...not an epic song...but very cool and ver addictive and I love it! Kurt Cobain is like James Hetfield! Good singers, good guitarists and great songwriters! Both Cobain and Hetfield are the main men! Like MetallicA the rhythm section is great and the Nevermind album is a classic! Pitty Cobain doesn't have a great lead guitarist by his side like Hammett!
    • 2. November Rain by Guns N Roses
This song is an Epic! It's trully amazing! Intelligent lyrics, great guitar playing like usuall from Slash and a variety of time changes and a very cool guitar solo at the end! This song like Teen Spirit and Enter Sandman was very popular in it's day! GNR appealed to women alot more than MetallicA and Nirvana and that's why they were so popular! Easily the 2nd best band from the 90's (behind MetallicA) people still listen to their music today...why? Because they have timeless music! Shure they were a band full of ego's etc etc etc... but you can't deny their talent and popularity!
    • 1. Enter Sandman by Metallica
Sure...Smells like Teen Spirit is a very cool song and it's very addictive! But these days if you were to ask most people they would pick Enter Sandman as the best song of the 90's! This song musically is better than Teen Spirit and we all know that MetallicA are a better band than Nirvana! I love Teen Spirit, but musically it's nothing special and nor is Enter Sandman but they are both very cool and influential! Enter Sandman is better lyrically and musically than Teen Spirit and it's a timeless song/album from 'Tallica! MetallicA is still popular today...whereas Nirvana...!PS. MetallicA were a much better band with Cliff Burton and during the ...And Justice For All days! It's just that those albums are from the 80's! MetallicA were the best band from the 90's and Enter Sandman was very popular! So it gets my vote!

    Best albums from the 90's! 1. MetallicA (1991) 2. Nevermind (1991) 3. Use your illusion 2 (1991) 4. Use your illusion 1 (1991) 5. Ten (1991)
