      I love this one! I remember watching the video for it week after week after week after week on the ITV Chart Show. This makes me think back to a time when the world was actually nice.

      One of the song who got rap/metal on the map.

      Scatterbrain is a very good funkmetal band. My most pleasant discovery of the 90s
    • 7. Spin me round 2000 by The Nerds
      It's a french canadian band, but this Dead or alive cover won't disappoint you. Both english & french versions exist.

      Excellent song, very good band.
    • 5. High hopes by Pink Floyd
      I always wondered how many people actually killed themselves listening Pink Floyd music. Strangely they are one of the few bands to use the word hope in a 90s song title. Made me discover a great band.

      Had to be an hell(actually, it might literally be)of a song to be aired in it's original german version.
    • 3. Smashing Pumpkin by Disarm
      They deserve to be here (at least for the early albums). I wrote disarm because it's my personal favorite
    • 2. November Rain by Guns N' Roses
      The band is sure dead, but this is major artwork
    • 1. Smells like teen spirit by Nirvana
      Kurt's legacy isn't only a mountain of money for C. Love. The definitive startpoint of an era.

      This song made me think about the tra-g-ic thing in Snot's life. Snot was the original band until their lead singer died. It is a sad song, but meaningful.

      Most dirtiest song of the 90's.
    • 8. Abuse Me by Silverchair
      It sounded happy, but had it's little depression.
    • 7. Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana
      Grunge Starter!!!!
    • 6. Black Hole Sun by Soundgarden
      Funny video, great song.
    • 5. Tha' Crossroads by Bone Thugs-N-Harmony
      GREASTEST RAP SONG IN THE WORLD!!!!! R.I.P. Eazy-E.
    • 4. Jeremy by Pearl Jam
      I would've choose "Black" but I like this alittle more. Me and my band P.O.C. have a cover song of this, and this is song is so great. And the music video took our lives away.

      Great song, and Flea is the best bassist ever, so who wouldn't pick a song with good voice and Red Hot Chili Peppers' Bassist?
