    • 7. The General by Dispatch
A band that developed a pretty big following from MA. They never really made it big, but in my eyes and in the eyes of my others is one of the best bands of all time. Their last show wil be on July 31. 2004 and Boston, MA. This is a concert that you dont want to miss.
    • 6. Tyler by The Toadies
Song about a stalker. Good times.

      O Right!!!
    • 3. No Rain by Blind Melon
    • 2. Candlebox by Far Behind
One of my favorite songs of all time...just a silly awesome song.
    • 1. Welcome To Paradise by Green Day
Just about anything from Green Day could be here...but this is my favorite.

I am a child of the 90's so just about everything is great. From the begining of grunge to that crap people call music...korn and limp bizkit in the later half of the decade. It is hard to compile a list of favorites when for the most part I love all...rock music from the 90's.

From beginning to end, great song

Every Band on hear has some of the Greatest Songs ever written in my opinion- like man in teh box by Alice in Chains- that came out in 89
    By: Daniel Todd
    • 10. Spice Up Your Life by The Spice Girls
Yes that is right. The Spice Girls own the 90's and it was their world. So I clearly put 'Spice Up Your Life' as $1- because..well..everyone was doing it!
    • 9. I Want You Back by N*Sync
I hate it to, but hey, it was their first sogn and all their albums hit #1 (like The Spice Girls), and we can't deny it.
    • 8. Zombie by The Cranberries
My FAVORIT 90's band, The Cranberries, hit gold with "Zombie". I'm not sure if it actually hit #1 for more than a week, but their album did. The political band may not be around anymore- but their music remains. "In you head, In your head- Zombie! Zombie!"..this should be my #1 but I am going more-so by the amount of sells.
    • 7. Goodbye by The Spice Girls
I know, the second time they are on here! But they owned the 90's more than anyone and the single "Goodbye" is no exception. This was the girls triumphant return from geri and to show they still could rock it without the vivacious red-head. This song hit #1 in the UK for 7 weeks and #1 in the US for 4 weeks. They had their 4th Christmas #1 hit with this song and even though their 3rd album, 'Forever', as the four-some only sold about 3 million in the US (as opposed to the 12 Million of 'Spice' and the 7 of 'Spiceworld') this song still can be a tear jerker.
    • 6. Only Happy When It Rains by Garbage
Garbage, they may be nothing more than a memory now but back in the 90's they were pretty successful. Though this song never hit #1 it still makes my top 10 because it is a great song, and most people remember it whether they remember Garbage or not.
    • 5. Too Much by The Spice Girls
The Spice Girls, running strong with their second album by that time, clearly held the music industry in their claws. With Posh in a cat suit, Baby as a poltergeist, the classy Ginger movie star, psychopathic Scary war general, and the kung fu Sporty, the video for "Too Much", seemed just to be that, too much! However, finding 6 weeks at #1 in the UK and 4 at #1 in the US, this was a clear hit. I'm not fond of these chickees' anymore than most people now, but back then they were EVERYWHERE! The Spice Girls appear four times on this chart- and why? Because they clearly were the most successful group of the 90's, out-selling even The Beatles..bravo girls! You can't deny it.
    • 4. Ice Ice Baby by Vanilla Ice
Vanilla Ice- early 90's...aren't they the same thing? Do I need to explain this? I didn't think so! Word to your mutha' !
    • 3. Baby Got Back by Sir Mix A Lot
This controversial song and video may have been banned from time to time, but there is no doubt it ruled the charts. Spending several weeks at #1 and spanning a hit album (because the other singles were dwarfed by this hit), Sir Mix A Lot definetly deserves my #3 spot.
    • 2. The Macarena by Los Del Rio
This song broke the #1 position records from the US to Egypt. Los Del Rio, though yet to produce another #1 hit, had The Macarena at the #1 spot for 61 weeks- over a year. This nearly had my #1 song spot but hey, just check it out below and you'll understand.
    • 1. Wannabee by The Spice Girls
Come on now? Did you really think that this song didn't echo 90's pop? This song ruled the charts forever it seemed, 40 weeks at #1 in the UK and 23 weeks at #1 in the USA. The song broke musical records and teen's wallets. The Spice Girls were all over the 90's and anyone who says they didn't like them must have amnesia.

I went by success. Sry, but it is so.

This is the song that made me learn to play guitar. Technically, it came out in 1988 but it gain popularity in the early 90's. My favourite, I never get tired of this song.

Can you believe it has been more than 10 yrs since these songs dominated our radio and MTV?? I'm now officially from the previous generation! Sigh! My memorable years........
