  I remember when this song came out, 2pac was in jail and it was the first time somebody got a number 1 hit while incarcerated.. innocent though! But it showed the world that 2pac had an opposite side

  I know I know... cheesy early 90's pop, but this song was great for its time. Too bad my favorite TV Show The Simpsons turned it into a gay anthem. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

  Any Top 10 song list for the 90's must include REM. Great tune.
• 5. Ahead By A Century by The Tragically Hip
  Brings back so many memories.... feels like yesterday.
• 4. Window Licker by Aphex Twin
  Crazy tune, crazy video. I love this.
• 3. 24 by Red House Painters
  Again, the video sold me and the song reflected my soul. "And were not loaded stadiums or ballparks, kid on the swingset or the blacktop"
• 2. Paranoid Android by Radiohead
  The video sold me. And the song inspired me. This album came out in one of the worst years of my life - and because of it, OK COMPUTER will forever be etched in my brain.
• 1. Closer by Nine Inch Nails
  This song changed me. I remember hearing it at a nightclub in 1994 and was immediately put into a trance. There's something odd and scary about this tune. Its the only song that I can listen to over and over again. #1 song for the 1990's.

Bjork, Nirvana, Blind Melon, oh yes.. SOUNDGARDEN!! Counting Crows.. who can forget mr jones or long december.. damn i miss the 90's
