I saw a thing on VH1 last night about Tickle Me Elmo. I saw a clip of a radio contest where this was a prize on the show. I got one b4 they were hard to find!

I just love how moms were like cutting each other in Wal-Mart trying to get these things for their kids on Christmas!!

I had one when i was little i bought one in 07 just to remember childhood memory.

the thing i dont understand about these dolls was why they were so popular. have you ever played with one? you just wanna flush it down the toilet after 5 seconds

Tickle Me Elmo. I Used To Play With Him Like Mad When I Was In Kindergarten! My Brother Found Him Some Time In 2006 And He Slammed Him To The Wall In The Living Room And He Was All Like "*Laughs Histerically*, That Tickles."

i have an origionalal one my mom bought for one of us for christmas when i came out. ithink i was about 1 at that time. westill have it and one that sings the alphbet and one that is really small (its in her car) and a potty elmo and spanish english one. they r so cute!!

The raver kids used to carry them around at high school as an accessory back in 1997 and 1998. I had one, but I don't remember if I brought it to school. I carried around other dolls though, like bigbird and snoopy. I can't believe acting like a 4 year old was trendy! hahaha

The only thing these things are good for is to burn. My friend set one on fire and it still kept laughing. I guess Elmo thought himself being on fire was hilarious for reasons that are unknown to me.

dude itoatlly had one and now when i look at them it is very scary. i cant belive i played with one of those.

I wanted one, but one of my aunts bought me the hugs & kisses/ily Elmo (I cant remember what it was called) It was all "Elmo Luvs You!"

My mom told me how popular these were when they first came out. She had pre-ordered one for me (because they sold out immediately) and the women at her work offerd to buy it from her for $200. Too bad a few years later I was digging through the shed and found the fuzzy guy, I picked him up and then he began to laugh! I was terrified and ran screaming into the house. Never saw him again.
