I'm pretty certain I had this and liked it a lot.

i was obsessed with this doll. i also had the mermaid that had color changing hair and played music. her tail also got stripes on it. i wish i could find them!

It wasn't a Barbie, it was a full size doll and she was the coolest doll ever. I got one for Christmas when I was 3 and I used to make my mom take one out of the box every time we went to the store so I could give it a hug and a kiss until I got my own. I still have it and most of her accessories.

I wanted her so badly after seeing her in a catalogue when I was 7, cause I loved her cute purple polka dot skirt and I loved makeup. She was even better when I finally got her, and I loved how the skirt can be worn in different ways, including inside out, and same with the cute headband with the bow. I would feel sad whenever I took all her makeup off and was worried the heart wouldn't come back, but it did when I managed to get ice from the freezer for it. I recently had to throw her out cause she got all wet and stank for days :( But I enjoyed playing with her as a kid and the memories will always be there.

I got one of these form a cousin. I didn't want to play with it until my mommy cleaned it.I didn't want cooties! (Anyone remember the Jenny Gymnast doll?)

I remember the Jennie Gymnast. My oldest daughter, Jennifer, who was 8 at the time got one for Christmas. She loved it! Well for two days anyway. Her younger sister who was 2 at the time got ahold of it and drew with blue permanant marker all over her face. Jennifer still to this day brings it up to her sister how she ruined her doll!! I am looking for one in good shape for Rebecca to give to her for Christmas so she will shut up about it already! It happened over 14 years ago! She still hasn't gotten over it! ha!
