9.  Let Her Cry by Hootie And The BlowfishThe melancholy hit from Hootie and the Blowfish, this song was key in the pop rock part of the 90's
8.  Yellow Ledbetter by Pearl JamPearl Jam non-album radio classic...this song is probably one of their best overall
7.  Find A Way by A Tribe Called QuestOne of the final and best songs from one of the most influential groups for Hip Hop
6.  Stinkfist by ToolOne of the best hard rock/metal songs of the 90's from one of the top bands of the 90's
5.  Glycerine by BushOne of Bush's best songs...one single guitar with an alternative touch, this song couldn't be wrong
4.  Black Hole Sun by SoundgardenAnother classic from the grunge era that was so prevalent in the 90's
3.  Plush by Stone Temple PilotsOne of the greatest songs that STP ever wrote, and one of the best songs of 92/93
2.  Alive by Pearl JamAgain...im not a big Pearl Jam fan, but this song did a lot for the grunge music scenen in the 90's
1.  Smells Like Teen Spirit by NirvanaIm not a big Nirvana fan...but this song defines the 90's rock scene
 There are so many more classics from the best era of music yet that I couldn't fit on this list...candlebox, more tool, no doubt,presidents of the united states of america, more tribe called quest, sheryl crow, dave matthews band, live, ben folds five, de la soul, notorious big, 2pac, the cranberries, and whoever else im leaving out that makes up the great period of music

10.  Jars of Clay by FloodChristian music's first big hit. Even more importantly, amazing vocals combines with fabulous guitar and bass. It deserves it's #10 ranking. (Even better live)
9.  All For You by Sister HazelAn amazing song. I don't know if there is much else to say about it. Simply amazing. If only Sister Hazel did now what they used to do.
8.  Ana's Song by SilverchairAmazing lyrics, vocals, and rhythm. Uses normal chords abnormally, and makes me love their music.
7.  Hey Jealousy by Gin BlossomsTheir only hit, but it was a big one. I still know people that know all the words.
6.  Slide by Goo Goo DollsAs the Goo Goo Dolls moved away from harder rock, they found a good sound that became a mold for other bands. Great song, great sound, great band.
5.  Tonight, Tonight by Smashing PumpkinsBilly Corgan was so much better as part of the pumpkins. Hopefully his new band, Zwan, starts sounding like them.
4.  Lightning Crashes by LiveMellow when it needs to be, rougher when it needs to be. This song did everything, and had amazingly deep lyrics. *believe it or not*
3.  Closing Time by SemisonicIt's great! Enough said.
2.  Sex and Candy by Marcy PlaygroundI know you loved it! I know it! I still know all the words! LOL
1.  6th Avenue Heartache by The WallflowersMaybe Jakob Dylan is trying to copy his father, but this song is the best song to come out of the 90s. Jakob has lyrical and vocal talent, and The Wallflowers are definitely the best band of the 90s.
 I know most of them are mainstream, but that's all I really like in the 90s. Don't like my list? Sorry!
