    • 6. My Name Is by Eminem
You must admit this song was extremely funny
    • 5. Baby Got Back by Sir Mix-a-Lot
People still play this song or at least talk about it to this day. If that isn't staying power, I don't know what is.
    • 4. Dreamlover by Mariah Carey
I absolutely loved this song!!! I used to play it over and over in my walkman while riding my bike or mowing the yard.
    • 3. Hit Me Baby One More Time by Britney Spears
I hate her music (and her current life choices), but her first song did have an impact, granted that impact brought us belly shirts, over the top dance moves and an army of blonde wanna be singers, but we must acknowledge her "talents" and effect on the music scene.
    • 2. Nice and Slow by Usher
I used to be so in love with Usher. Do you remember trying to sing the rap in the middle of the song when he spells his name? That was my favorite part of the whole song.

Does anyone remember this song or the movie "Dangerous Minds"

This song is heavy, catchy, and also possesses the message that people can relate to.
    • 2. Silhouettes by Smile Empty Soul
I just heard this song yesterday, and I can't get it out of my head. I'm sure many people can relate to the message that this song presents.
    • 1. One by Metallica
This si my favorite song of all time. It brings Metallica's power and aggressiveness, hormonic and melodic capabilities, apocalyptic view of the world, and lighting fast solos into one beautifully crafted masterpiece.

I would put all Metallica because they are like Superman if he were a band. But this is over the last decade. The only reason I put One is because there was no way I could leave that one off.

    • 7. The Rain by Missy Elliot
This was type of music that was new to us all when it came out and it became big both for fans and Missy herself. This song became popular pretty fast for its lyrics and may I say that this song from 2 Pac is one that ppl took seriously for very good reason's. RIP 2PAC
    • 1. No Rain by Blind Melon
It's a soothing song to listen to with a great voice behind it and became addictive after listening to it for awhile. Lets just put it down like this, it was the best song from the 90's, it was a song everybody was into and everyone knew the words, sung the song and tapping their feet at the sametime. A good ole song and one that everyone should have in their c.d collection ! God Bless Blind Melon Forever !

Other Artists I believe who should be on this list but not is Aaliyah, Monica, Brandy, The Fugees, Beastie Boys and countless others and I know yall can agree with me when I say Nirvana.
