Immortalized by Ali Landry flinging them around in various laundromat appliances (and then doing back-flips and splits before catching them in her mouth), these were basically Doritos-meets-Bugles. Take the average triangular Dorito chip, puff it out and give it the texture (and the taste) of a Bugle, and you got it.

omg the other day my 19 yr old sister and i were craving these never realizing they were only a limited time deal and were so pissed wen we found out. btw if you've never had them, you're missing out on the greatest thing since sliced bread other than retro starburst

Dorito's are good, but 3-D dorito's were way better! It's kind of sad they stopped making them :(
I am quite saddened that these are no longer around. These were one of the few things I enjoyed in life back in the late 90's.
omg! i loved these. sounds gross, but i loved to fill the jalepeno ones with spray cheese and eat em! haha. they should bring em back.

My dog would eat ANYTHING and these were no exception, she would eat one and then spend the next 10 minutes sticking her tongue out trying to work out why it burned so much :D

I loved them of course the regular nacho cheese I would love to buy a whole truck load of them and get standed on a desserted island... plz bring them back frito lay!!!!!!!
Doritos 3d's were heaven on earth! I remember the commercial and while I could do flips I just simply tossed them up and caught them in my mouth........i want some now.........
I must be the only person that doesnt like them. I mean, yeah I'll eat them if theyre in the house, but I'd prefer something else. I remember them tasting more corn-y than Dorito-y. Plus I remember they cut up the roof of my mouth.

I don't know where to start. well. Dortito 3D's were the best thing ever. Ever since they stopped making them i have been craving them. the spicy kind was the best. i was addicted. OMG I WANT SOME NOW
