Working the Backlog
There's a lot of stuff people have submitted to the site over the past 8 years that hasn't been reviewed yet. ChuckyG and Red Ant are currently trying to review as much of it as possible. If you'd like to help, check out the request for editors message I posted on inthe00s. I plan on adding more sections to the site and improving what's here once the existing material has been reviewed.

Toys (1992)
This movie is so boring adn totally lame I couldn't stand watching even ten minutes of it. The title says all.

Top Ten Albums List by Jeff Bueckert
  • 10. Billy Madison
Adam Sandler has made some great movies (excluding Bulletproof and Little Nicky which were pure ass). This one is my personal fav.
  • 9. Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country
The best Star Trek movie ever. And easily one of the best Sci-Fi's of the decade.
  • 8. Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey
The other one is great too (but is 1989), but I actually think the sequel is better. You have to love all their time travelling hijinx. Great early 90s comedy. Too bad all the world's problems couldn't be solved by Wyld Stallions.
  • 7. American Beauty
So good. I don't even need to explain.
  • 6. Fargo
I'd say its the Cohen's brothers best movie so far. Great story and even better characters.
  • 5. The Shawshank Redemption
This movie should show up on everyone's top 10 list. So inspiring.
  • 4. Office Space
After watching this movie you want to drop out of school and be a slacker. And it's so awesome.
  • 3. Gattaca
Great science fiction movie that can be appreciated by people who are normally scared away from the genre. All about genetic engineering and how one man rises above his disabilities. A huge theme in the 90s.
  • 2. Braveheart
Come on people. So great. Not since Spartacus was there a better underdog epic. Amazing story.
  • 1. Rushmore
No other movie has affected me the same way that this move has. Wes Anderson is pure genius as director and co-writer. Jason Schwartzman turns in a performance that no one could top as Max Fischer. If you haven't watched it, you haven't lived.
Unfortunately the majority of my picks are skewed to late 90s. Generally because that's when I was in high school, and so that's when I had the time and the money to go to the movies.

Same thing with not being too popular anymore but it had great stunts like Die Hard and Lethal Weapon, and it had a great cast.

Probably not too popular anymore though but it still had some great car scenes including the crashes and the performance of Tom Cruise as a race car driver.

The gamblers at a Las Vegas Casino decide to chance doing things the antagonist would do, but it was still a great movie with a great cast. Not like other gangster movies though.

One of the two best movies of 1999, the other being The Sixth Sense. With high-tech special/visual effects and cool fights. Memorable movie.
  • 2. Pulp Fiction
The best of 1994! This movie made me feel good about crime movies. With stories about hitman on addiction, a boxer, and a hot girl, and a black gangster.
  • 1. Goodfellas
A movie you will forget, I won't since I own the DVD, About 3 gangsters, including Robert De Niro and Oscar Winner Joe Pesci, involved in a crime sceme and a murder of another gangster, Billy Batts.
Other great movies were Analyze This, A Bronx Tale, Meet the Parents, Ronin, South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut and Terminator 2.
