The ones I remember were just plain looking fries but you could opt to use a "seasoning packet" they provided to you. It was basically just taco seasoning.

I worked at a taco bell in 2002 and we had these as a "test market" type thing....they where gross, weird, and stupid. "Fries Supreme" is all I remember....gross.

Me and my fiance have been arguin about this for ova a month!!! He said Taco Bell had fries and I never believed him! I called all of my fattest friends and family and no1 ever heard of Taco Bell having fries! I finally decided to google it today at work and I guess I owe him an apology! yes taco bell has had chili cheese fries, fries supreme (with nacho cheese sauce, sour cream, ground beef, tomatoes and green onions) as well as just plain cheese fries. I'm from ontario canada, and we have had them for as long as i can remember, the only thing i wish they would bring back are the tostadas--man those were delicious!!!!!!!!!1

Well here in Puerto Rico ALL taco bell serve french fries and believe me they are the best fries of all BIG fast food chains (mcdonalds,BK,wendys,KFC,etc). The fries texture is diferent from other fast foods but they taste great. If you come to PR try them.

Just to add some information, there was a big campaign when the fries were introduced where if you found a burnt or mushy fry you got a free order. People were going just to find a bad fry but they must have worked out a deal with the devil because I never heard of anyone collecting.

Finally...people were beginning to think I was crazy, and I was beginning to even question myself......I've told so many people about these fries back in the day. I was in highschool in the mid 90's, and I used to devour these fries along with 12 tacos that used to come in a box "to go" with the little handle.... LOL. Awwww...the memories.

Yup, it was about 95 when they had AMAZING cheese fries. I would also get two or three orders of them.

We used to go to Taco Bell in St. Clair, NSW Australia and they served up Nachos with french fries it was delicious - wish they still had them - much better than with corn chips YUUUMMMEEEE!!!!MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!

CB, Iowa in the 90's, I also ate the taco bell fries. They were delicious! Even my now grown children remember them. If they brought them back, we would undoubtedly would eat them.

Slidell, Louisiana had the fries in '92 I think it was...the fries were like the batter fried ones...I always got the fries supreme and they were awesome! I wished they would bring them back

Taco Bell in Alabama (72 West) had these around the year 2000 or so - it's been so long, but I do remember stopping there because they were amazing with the cheese at the time, but then again, I think Taco Bell from the 90's was way better than now.

I worked at a TB in 95 while I was in high school. Yes they had fries!! The bags of them read "stealth fries" they had a special coating that would prevent them from getting soggy and last under the heat lamps longer without getting stale.

Taco Bells in Dayton, Ohio had these in 1992~94 time frame. When they stopped selling them, we were told that it was just a test market item but friends that worked at Taco Bell claimed it was one of the best sellers. Must of been a supply or profit issue with the item because it was tasty!

Tb did have fries in 95&96 in Sc the cheese fries with the chives on top was sooooo goooood!!¡! I would eat them every day 99 cents that was deal

We have had them in Ontario since the 90's you can get cheese fries, plain fries or fries supreme any day you want.

Border fries!!! They were my favorite thing at Taco Bell for a while!! I used to walk to the Taco Bell across the street from my dorm to get them, and I shouldn't even admit how often I did that. I was so excited when they brought them back (recently), but I was actually disappointed that they didn't call them Border Fries. For years, we've made them at home and called them Border Fries. :)
